FRESHLY BAKED BREAD

My husband gifted me a bread machine for Christmas and whilst I love it, there is nothing like making it from scratch by hand to warm your belly on a cold day. I can honestly say that degassing the dough is super calming and almost tranquil. I use a high quality bread flour, yeast and since I don't have a bread tin, a pie dish did the job!

THIS WEEKEND

This weekend I actually treated myself to the latest edition of Frankie Magazine, some new sneakers and some delicate gold rings. Because Arrah has been amazing at school, she also scored herself a cute little ring. We spent most of the afternoon today "crafternooning" with chalk out on the drive way. At only $1 per pack of chalk, it's a super cost effective and fun weekend activity.

WEDDING WEDNESDAY: Artemer Jewelry Design

If you haven't yet already come across Artemer Jewelry Design's shop on Etsy, then you are really missing out. Hand crafted from start to finish in a small studio located by the Judean Desert near Jerusalem, jewelry designers Tomer and Tanya have worked hard in the field of goldsmith for many years and have perfected their skills to create the simple, elegant and conflict free pieces for their shop.

My favorite piece would have to be the wedding set of the pear diamond engagement ring and a five pave diamonds "crown" ring. It is elegant, fine and so very delicate.

MUSIC MONDAY: JAPANESE WALLPAPER

At only 17 years old, Melbourne singer Gab Strum going by Japanese Wallpaper has been described as a prodigy, a term that is certainly fitting for this classically trained multi-instrumentalist. His debut EP War Peace Rocket Ships is smooth and fine and ticks all the boxes. He has recently teamed up with Pepa Knight of Jinja Safari to create the blissed out electronica track ‘Waves’ which I have had on repeat now for the past two weeks.
